What is a Pension Review?

Most people are not working for the same company for 40 years and members of the same particular pension scheme for all of their working life. Quite common is a few years as a member of this scheme then a bit of opted out, possible some self employment with or without a pension plan and before you know it, it all becomes a bit of a mess with bits of pensions all over the place. Retirement becomes more of a lottery of luck as many people have no clue as to what they either have of don’t have and how best to use it to work to the retirement goal.

We offer a service to trace all of your schemes with your help and find out exactly what each one is and what it is going to do for you and when this is. Once we have this information we are in a position to advise you of the best way forward. As this takes time to do and we have costs to pay we charge a level fee for the review service on a per plan basis subject to a minimum fee basis. We would all like to stop work tomorrow which is a common answer when we have asked people. The reason we do not is always money. You need to ask yourself: When would I like to Retire? How Much Income Would I Need? How Much Can I afford to Start Saving TODAY?

Picture yourself at retirement age and you have done nothing to save towards retirement. If this were today could you stop work right now? Therefore if you don’t do something about it today the answer will be the same at your real retirement age.
